Last week members of Stealth Fitness centre based in Coalville organised and took part in a Macmillan coffee morning “With a twist”.
Owner of the centre Craig Smith said “we like to do things a little different here at Stealth and there was no way as a fitness centre I could condone eating so much delicious cake, without paying their dues, even if it is for a really good cause.”
So the centre which is home to Stealth Black Belt Academy, The Spartan Forge and the brand new “Endure Indoor Rowing studio” set about putting on some socially distanced work outs, designed to burn the cake calories prior to consumption.
Over 50 members took part in staggard workouts before recuperating and re-fuelling in the reception café.
“The Bears Beasting” – a seriously hardcore circuit class & a “One hour endurance Row”
“Everyone put in so much effort not only in the classes but in the cake making too“ coach Lottie Prime went on to say.
In total the centre raised over £450 for Macmillan.
